OPERATION POTHOLE FIX BEGINS THE WEEK OF MAY 22, 2023

Beginning the week of May 22, work will begin to remove and replace the asphalt for long-term care parking.  This work will be conducted in three phases and should be completed in a 4-to-6-week period, depending on weather and materials.

Phase One:

The south parking lot and the main entrance roadway (RED) will be closed to traffic.  We have informed CATA Busing but have yet to hear how they will adjust their route during this project.

Access to the main lobby entrance will be maintained.

During Phase One, the main driveway entrance will be closed.  Use the Ingham Co Wy road (highlighted yellow on the map) and follow around the apartment building next door to the north parking lot or the rear parking lot. Anticipate about one and a half weeks to complete.

Coordination for emergencies will be made with the paving company.

Phase Two:

The south parking lot and main driveway entrance will reopen for those parking in LTC.  The north parking (Blue) lot will be closed.  If you are parking at the rear of the building, continue to use Ingham Co Wy.  If you park in the front, use the main entrance, and then go to the south parking area (Red).  Anticipate about one and a half weeks to complete.

Phase Three:

This phase will be for the approach to the rear parking, garage access, and deliveries (Purple).  During this phase, staff should park in LTC parking or the staff parking on the Rehab parking lot.

Depending on the weather, this phase should only take a week.

Coordination will be made for deliveries during this time.

Thank you!
