I joined the team here at Dobie Road in April of 2006 as a CNA. I had completed my CNA clinicals here earlier in the year, I knew I wanted to start my health care career at Dobie and was excited to get the chance. Why- the residents! I was excited to play apart in making sure the residents were cared for in the way that they deserved and maintain their comfort as much as possible with a team of excellent co-workers. As I continued to work, I wanted to learn more about geriatric care and grow in my career. Dobie provided with me a great support system to help me grow including HR, my nursing supervisors, and co-workers in the nursing and other departments. In the last 14 plus years, I have grown at Dobie, from LPN, RN, MDS Coordinator, MDS Director, into my current position. With each step in my career, I felt supported. As I knew I wanted to start my career here, it became very clear my goal was to continue to grow and retire from Dobie Road many years into the future.
